Q: How do I look after my Bracelet?

A: Wearing your bracelet whilst cleaning or during exposure to water such as swimming or showering for example- Chlorine can damage gemstones and soap residue leaves jewellery looking dull. Also, the chemicals in cosmetics, hairspray and perfume can damage semi-precious stones, so if possible put on the bracelet last when dressing and take off first when undressing, to minimise exposure.

Q: Are the Semi-Precious stones all genuine.

A: Yes, we use reputable suppliers to bring you the best possible natural Semi-Precious stones available. Due to the nature of Semi-Precious stones, every single bead is unique and will vary slightly in colour and pattern. They can also have some minor inclusions.

Q: What size are the beads used in Maramaia bracelets?

A: We use 10mm sized semi-precious stones in all designs apart from a limited few collections.

Q: Is the Sterling Silver hallmarked.

A: The actual legal requirement for stamping Sterling Silver in the UK is any item above 7.78 grams, some of the findings  (like jump rings) are not stamped due to structure integrity issues, however our lobster clasps do carry hallmarks and all our Sterling Silver is 925 rating.
